Wabi-sabi (侘び寂び) is an aesthetic philosophy that finds beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and incompleteness. It encourages us to appreciate the simple and natural decay of things. In my creative endeavor, I am using a collage to craft a zine that embodies the principles of wabi-sabi. This zine celebrates the unique stories conveyed through each texture and layer, honoring the flaws that make each piece truly remarkable.
